Cape Fear Community College now offers a 6-course graphic design certificate program. The 264-hour program focuses on graphic design principles using Adobe Creative Cloud software and other web-based design applications.
The program trains students in all areas of design including logo design, typography, print production, portfolio creation, and more. Marsha Mills, associate professor, leads the talented team of design instructors. Mills carries with her 30 years of experience in graphic design and has worked in several major corporations as well as teaching design for over 20 years in higher education, including the Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham and Wake Technical Community College. “My focus is to create a program that is inexpensive, informative, and practical,” said Mills. “My students will graduate with a strong working knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, layout, and information organization.” For more information, visit www.cfcc.edu/job-training/design/graphic-design/ or call (910) 362-7370. |
